Red Dot Fundamentals
Red dot optics are changing how people carry and shoot, but only if you know how to use them. Whether you're just making the switch or already running a red dot and want to sharpen your skills, our Red Dot Fundamentals Class will help you to find the dot faster and shoot more accurately and safely. equipped pistol.
This class will be taught by an active Police Academy Firearms Instructor at a Private Indoor Range (LA East Side // Glendale Area).
You will learn and go over:
- Firearms Safety
- History
- Red Dots for Civilian CCW
- Red Dot Types
- Pros and Cons of Red Dots
- The Importance of Target Focus
- Shooting Fundamentals
Hands-on training will include:
- Zeroing your red dot
- Drawing and Presentations
- Dry Fire Skill Building
- Live Fire
- Debrief of the Class
Other Required Equipment:
- Handgun with optic
- 200 rounds of ammunition
- CCW Holster (IWB (appendix or strong side))
- 3 magazines
- Ear Protection
- Eye Protection
