VIP CCW Services is authorized to provide CCW training for all agencies listed below. Our Renewal 8-hour class meets the requirements set forth by SB2 and adheres to California PC 26165. The course is conducted entirely in person.
After registration, you'll receive instructions to schedule your preferred dates for Lecture.
Please note, in additional to dates listed on the website, we routinely additional dates to the class schedule.
You may change, modify your scheduled class days using our online calendar!

Our Renewal CCW Class consists of 8 hours of training,
For Los Angeles County CCW Students, the Lecture and range qualification is held at LAX Range and can be scheduled at dates and times convenient for students. Weekday and weekend dates are both available.
Our training program is designed to meet the requirements set by CA SB2 and is compliant with PC 26165. Completion of this course fulfills the training requirement necessary to renew your Los Angeles County CCW Permit or for any other specified police departments.
- California laws regarding the possession of a firearm in public as per SB2
- California laws regarding the safe storage of a firearm within a residence and in public
- California laws regarding the permissible use of a firearm
- Criminal and Civil liability laws regarding firearms
- Safe Handling of firearms including assembly, disassembly, cleaning and reassembly.
- Firearm safety, responsible firearm ownership.
- Safe storage, handling, transportation and maintenance of a firearm.
- Different ammunition types: hollow point vs. full metal jacket.
- Responsibilities associated with possessing and carrying a firearm.
- De-escalation techniques and threat assessment.
- Holster types and selection.
- Federal Firearms laws.
- Traveling with firearms.
- How to safely, respectfully, and courteously handle a law enforcement encounter such as being pulled over.
